Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the year 1962. She is an American actor. In 1983, following her debut film Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack part of WarGames 1982 as well as The Breakfast Club '85 she was a well-known member of the group. Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her role in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Sheedy is an American actress, and author. She began her acting career in the film Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. The film which was directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. In 1985, after her debut success in a film she starred on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. John Hughes' film, directed by him, was one of the most acclaimed high-school movies in history. Although it was the budget of 1 million dollars, the film's earnings exceeded $50 Million. She also began appearing on a number of television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. The show targeted teenagers and began airing in April 1980. Other TV shows she appeared in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, where Sheedy is a small cameo. Sheedy has been recognized for her extraordinary appearances, was awarded numerous prizes. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
